Give the piece room to work.
Look at the whole wall, including nearby furniture, shelves and lights. Mark the panel’s outline with paper or tape suitable for your wall, then step back to the place you will usually see it from.
For a pair or a group, mark every piece and the gaps between them. Room images are styling examples; the dimensions of the size you choose are what matter for your space.
