Rounded black letters spell MESSY ON PURPOSE right over loose pink paint splashes.
Black rounded letters reading MESSY ON PURPOSE sit over pink splashes on turquoise. The clear words and loose paint marks make an easy visual contrast between a planned message and an untidy-looking surface.
Suited to a creative space or study, a planned message sitting on an untidy surface makes for an easy visual contrast.

A quick rule of thumb
Above furniture, a piece (or a group) usually looks balanced at about two-thirds of the furniture's width, hung so the centre sits roughly at eye level. These are starting points, not rules — your space decides.
Try it before you order
Mark the exact width and height with paper or masking tape.
Step back to where you usually sit or stand, then look again from the doorway.
Check how it sits beside furniture, lights and shelves.
For two or more pieces, mark every panel and the gaps between them — or try the Wall Set builder.
